SV	Daarna ging al het volk in het huis van Baal, en braken dat af; en zijn altaren en zijn beelden verbraken zij, en Matthan, den priester van Baal, sloegen zij dood voor de altaren.
WLC	וַיָּבֹ֨אוּ כָל־הָעָ֤ם בֵּית־הַבַּ֙עַל֙ וַֽיִּתְּצֻ֔הוּ וְאֶת־מִזְבְּחֹתָ֥יו וְאֶת־צְלָמָ֖יו שִׁבֵּ֑רוּ וְאֵ֗ת מַתָּן֙ כֹּהֵ֣ן הַבַּ֔עַל הָרְג֖וּ לִפְנֵ֥י הַֽמִּזְבְּחֹֽות׃
Trans.	wayyāḇō’û ḵāl-hā‘ām bêṯ-hab^a‘al wayyitəṣuhû wə’eṯ-mizəbəḥōṯāyw wə’eṯ-ṣəlāmāyw šibērû wə’ēṯ matān kōhēn hab^a‘al hārəḡû lifənê hammizəbəḥwōṯ:

AC	יז ויבאו כל העם בית הבעל ויתצהו ואת מזבחתיו ואת צלמיו שברו ואת מתן כהן הבעל הרגו לפני המזבחות
ASV	And all the people went to the house of Baal, and brake it down, and brake his altars and his images in pieces, and slew Mattan the priest of Baal before the altars.
BE	Then all the people went to the house of Baal and had it pulled down, and its altars and images broken up; and Mattan, the priest of Baal, they put to death before the altars.
